My Counselling Values and Beliefs

Through my own internal work, I know what it is like to feel lost or disconnected from your own mind and body. Feeling as if you are supposed to be a certain way or doing a certain thing, even when those beliefs don’t resonate.

I truly believe that you are able to be who you really are, and to live authentically.

I’m fascinated by the words we tell ourselves and the beliefs we carry through life, often without knowing where they came from or if they are even true for us anymore. My goal is to create a safe environment where I can offer you compassion, empathy, and constructive challenge, helping you find a fresh perspective.

My Working Experience

I have experience of working with clients facing a range of issues, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Identity
  • Grief/bereavement
  • Stress
  • Family dynamics
  • Domestic abuse
  • Childhood abuse
  • Self-esteem/self-confidence
  • Relationship issues
  • Loss of self

Who Am I?

My background is rooted in exercise physiology, nutrition, and holistic therapies. Understanding the connection between mind and body, and how external factors play on these has always been a deep interest of mine. It laid the foundation for my desire to help people live their best lives and feel truly connected to themselves.

I also spent many years working within a large workforce, serving a wide range of customers. During this time, I worked with a variety of personality types and relationship dynamics, navigating high-stress environments.

Returning to the health and wellbeing industry, I can now look back on that corporate experience with a fresh perspective. I understand first hand how a job role (and other life experiences) can hijack your identity, leaving you feeling disconnected from your true self. My goal is to help you peel back those layers and rediscover who you are.
